Our Philosophy for Youth Athletes

Game Face fitness training is geared toward the emotional maturity, physical development and needs of each client under 18 years of age.

Our model distinguishes between three distinct stages to enhance general athletic capabilities and sport specialization.

Stage 1:  Learning to Train

Stage 2:  Training to Gain

Stage 3:  Training to Compete

YOUTH AND HIGH SCHOOL SESSIONS:

Game Face is keenly aware that athletic training for children is important to their growth physically and mentally.  However, it is our understanding of the developmental patterns and stages of children that ensure our clients are being trained properly and in a manner that is age-appropriate for their natural development.

Game Face has developed a proven training method that provides our children clients with the core values for continual growth physically and mentally throughout their athletic career and as they mature.  Specifically:

Male (Ages 11)/Female (Ages 8-10)

Our initial focus in the development process is to educate the child on the basic fundamentals of athleticism (1-coordination, 2-balance, 3-agility, and 4-speed). These fundamentals are aimed at creating muscle memory through repetition and enhancing the child’s motor skills in order to create a solid foundation to build on moving into to the next stage of our child program.

Male (Ages 12-14)/Female (Ages 11-14)

The second age group in our children training program is focused on enhancing the core fundamentals of athleticizm (outlined above) by increasing the level of workout intensity.  At this stage, our children clients will endure more rigorous training, physically and mentally, in order to increase the likelihood of their athletic success.

Male (Ages 15-18)/Female (Ages 15-18)

“The previously outlined age groups are used as the foundation for

the programming developed in the third age group. The third age group will work on pinpointing the client’s athletic shortcomings and roadblocks. Our staff will then work to create individualize plans to develop strengths and conquer such hurdles.”
